Flumotion offers its clients a flexible and versatile multi-format platform that provides original solutions for the needs of the media, broadcasters and video portals, and also drastically reduces the costs associated with generating and distributing multimedia content on the Internet. The platform is a CDN (Content Delivery Network), which allows for serving the leading formats on the Internet, from Windows Media, MP3 or Flash, to the open formats OGG, Vorbis and Theora, allowing our clients to offer service to Linux, Mac OS and Windows users indiscriminately, both live and VoD, thanks to the use of our own servers.
